Abdihakim Ibrahim

Abdihakim Arabow Ibrahim is a father, engineer, public servant, and community leader who has built his life in St. Louis Park.

After immigrating to the United States in 2014, Abdihakim dedicated himself to public service and creating opportunities for families to thrive.

As the first Somali American elected to the St. Louis Park School Board and a former Vice Chair, Abdihakim has become a trusted voice for students, families, and residents.

Now, he is running for Hennepin County Commissioner District 3 to bring fresh leadership focused on affordability, healthcare, public safety, and building stronger communities.
